from Lucknow, late 19th/early 20th century (1880-1900)
in sterling silver with a vermeil interior and base
in an octagonal square shape decorated with Meenakari enamels
embellished on the lid with four rubies and one cabochon moonstone, around which are painted four dancing fish within a circle decorated with lotus petals
on the sides are depicted various types of birds, including a flamingo on the front
