Having been ousted from the band by Roger Waters on completion of the album, keyboardist Richard Wright stayed on as a salaried musician and ended up being the only band member to make any money from the tour. As relations between the four bands members had famously broken down during recording of the album, their four Winnebago’s were parked in a circle with each door facing away from the centre throughout the tour. Despite the tensions, which would eventually led to one of the most bitter breakups in rock and roll, the grandiose production was noted as a milestone in the history of the rock concert and remains to this day one of the most ambitious and complex theatrical shows ever attempted.
CONDITION
Unfolded, not backed. Soft bumps to corners and a handful of minor nicks and tears to edges, no larger than a quarter of an inch. A few light creases and surface dings throughout. Colours excellent.
