Unique Sculpture Wine Decanter Set by Karystios Dimensions: W 28 x D 20 x H 20 cm Materials: Ceramic from High Temperature Oven. The sculptural piece studies debris in a paradoxical concrete form made from the remains of discarded pieces of stone and marble. Debris can come from a variety of sources such as a war zone, the leftovers from a design item, pieces from a destructed natural formation. Whether from geological or man-made activity debris can have a valuable and emotional connotation. The gold color symbolizes the notion of how we evaluate and treat waste. Marios was born in Kallithea, Athens. He is a Central Saint Martins alumni and an IKY scholar. After working in advertising for major brands and as a dj for over a decade, he established an interdisciplinary design studio in Paphos countryside in 2012 from where he works with a network of exceptional professionals around the globe.
