Pamono Scanline Flatware for 6 by Sigvard Bernadotte, 1950s, Set of 39> Cutlery & Serving Utensils

Designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, Denmark, the maker would have been Broste, Copenhagen.
However, the cutlery set comes without attribution mark.

Brass/bronze shimmering flatware.
Sigvard Bernadotte (1907-2002).
The RISD Museum – Rhode Island School of Design Museum holds the proof, the design is indeed by Bernadotte:
The manufacturer of this design was Broste, Copenhagen – but the cutlery pieces making then was likely outsourced to Indonesia.
The material is likely a light bronze alloy (80% copper and 20% tin).

1 Meat serving knife

All pieces are hand made, each piece slightly different to the next.
Measurements in the listing re taken from the dinner forks.

Measurements salad SERVING fork: length 10 inches (25.5 cm), width 1.57” (4 cm) approx.

The pieces have not been polished, so they are in original condition.
Without marking:
meat serving fork, serving fork, soup ladles, spoons.

with a ”jn”, possibly custom marked: teaspoons, mustard spoons, knifes, forks, large serving (salad) fork.
Pressmarks/none: pls. note that there might be a mistake in this list, but I think it is correct.

If this set is an original by Broste remains unknown. However, it is an original after S. Bernadottes design and an original of the time. Partially stronger signs of use (see meat knife).
