Peter Chidzonga, born in 1979 in Chiweshe, northern Zimbabwe, grew up under the care of his grandparents. Due to financial constraints, he was unable to complete his primary education.

In 1991, Peter discovered his passion for sculpting, despite initial opposition from his grandparents. Their stance shifted once he sold his first piece at a significant price, earning their newfound support.

Over the years, Peter’s art has been featured in galleries across the globe, including Canada, the UK, the USA, the Netherlands, France, and Zimbabwe. In 2007, he spent three months in Calgary, Canada, where he showcased his work and conducted sculpture workshops, further solidifying his international reputation
