Charming and full of life, this bronze sculpture with a brown patina represents a neo-Florentine singer playing the mandolin. The upper part has many details, such as buttons, drapery or hair, while the lower part is smooth.
This subject rests on a circular molded base, in griotte marble from Belgium, on which is affixed the inscription “Jacques Rouche L’Ecole Polytechnique 4 Mai 1919”.
