Pamono Manhattan Reclining Daybed Sofa by Guy Rogers, United Kingdom, 1960s> Daybeds & Chaises Lounges

A rare and stylishly restored daybed from Guy Rogers’ iconic “Manhattan” series, manufactured in Liverpool in the 1960s. The design combines sculptural lines with softly rounded armrests and finely turned legs – an elegant interplay of British modernism and Scandinavian influences.

The backrest folds down easily, transforming the sofa into a comfortable daybed – perfect for relaxing or as a guest bed. The piece has been expertly refinished and reupholstered in a high-quality fabric with a tone and texture inspired by the 1960s style (fabric swatches available upon request).

Of particular note is the original dealer’s label from Kean & Scott Ltd., a renowned British furniture retailer with branches in Birmingham, Solihull, and Leamington Spa – an authentic detail with collector’s value.

The sofa comes from a private home near Hamburg and is in excellent condition.
