Wonderful, large, entirely hand-modeled terracotta sculpture depicting a nude woman, signed by the artist “L. ALLIOT” engraved with a metal nib on the ceramic impasto before firing, there is also a stamp impressed on the base. The sculpture can be dated to the first decades of the 20th century. Very high artistic quality, notice the beauty of the woman’s pose with her head slightly bent forward, with a provocative and at the same time sweet look, notice the intertwined fingers or toes defined in the smallest details, a true work of art in terracotta. The sculpture is very heavy because it is worked on a block of clay without a mold and carved by hand, which is why the sculpture is full, not hollow.
