Large wooden urushi lacquer tray from the 1920s.

Dimensions: height 4.5 cm, tray 67 cm x 67 cm. Trays of this size were used for presenting dishes and during tea ceremonies.

The inside is warm vermillion red lacquered, and the outside is black with gold decoration on the corners.

A traditional Japanese decorative piece. In good condition with normal signs of aging.
