Pamono Georgian Blue Glass Rum Decanter with Engraved Decoration, 1780s-1800s> Bottles, Carafes & Jugs

A striking Georgian blue glass decanter, dating to the late 18th century (c.1780–1800). This elegant spirit decanter is made in a deep cobalt blue, with the word “RUM” finely engraved to the front, framed with decorative swags. It retains its traditional cork stopper, mounted with a small tag reading Rum in period script.

The decanter displays classic late Georgian proportions, with a tapering body, triple applied neck rings, and an unpolished pontil to the base. The blue glass is vibrant and richly coloured, showing the skill of 18th-century glassmakers. A small round mark to the body appears to be part of the original manufacture rather than later damage, and the rim is left unpolished as expected for glass of this period.
