A stunning 1970s five-bay Danish teak CADO shelving system designed by Paul Cadovius consisting of 32 pieces including the uprights, plus 50 brackets. These designer shelves are fully modular, allowing a huge choice of combinations. The system is easily assembled, each bracket attaches to the uprights by dowels and wooden angle brackets. Comprising of a drop down desk with key, four finger-jointed drawers and filing section, along with twenty five shelves. The bureau and each shelf is stamped “Made in Denmark”.
This is a really stunning wall system in wonderful original condition, which has been in the same house since new, and was the main bookcase in the reading room.
The setup shows little wear and has obviously been very well looked after over the years. The set is still wearing its original finish and has recently been gently oiled and is ready to hang.
