Oval, early Biedermeier / Empire Saloon or center table, probably Vienna, Austria around 1820. Cherry veneered and solid wood. Intermediate tableau with upward tapering partly ebonized and painted decor. Top center inlaid and ebonized (black polished) plate. Four carved eagle heads on the sides, re-gilded with gold leaf and partially ebonized. Restored and shellac hand polished. Dimensions: H 73 cm x W 94 cm x D 67.5 cm.
