Having graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1921, he began his career by collaborating with various architects and engineers, actively participating in exhibitions and founding the magazine ‘Domus’. He received numerous awards for his work in design and architecture, including the Mussolini Prize in 1934. Ponti left a significant imprint on industrial design and architecture, creating emblematic works such as the Pirelli Skyscraper in Milan. His legacy includes a vast archive of drawings and projects, preserved at the Communication Studies and Archive Center in Parma.
