Pamono Art Deco Silver-Plated Flatware by Luc Lanel for Christofle, 1930s, Set of 32> Cutlery & Serving Utensils

I am offering for sale a lot of “MIRA” model cutlery, designed by LUC LANEL and produced since the 1930s by the historic French brand Christofle. Purchased from us in Rome, we think that this 20th century cutlery set may come from a hotel in the Italian capital. Currently out of production, this series of cutlery with its grooved handle is in full Art Deco style. All 32 pieces of the set are marked on the right with the manufacturer’s brand “CHRISTOFLE” and on the left with the one indicating the material with which they were made: Silver-Plated Metal indicated by the brand depicting the knight from Chess surrounded by the initials “OC”. The silver plating, after 90 years of age, shows imperceptible imperfections on some cutlery where the golden metal underneath the plating is starting to show. The set does not have knives but can easily be combined with other types of knives, perhaps with a more functional blade. This vintage cutlery set includes: 6 forks 6 dessert forks 6 dessert or fruit knives 6 Spoons 6 Dessert Spoons The cutlery is stable and solid but shows slight signs of age and use visible in the photos. The most obvious flaw is on the pair of serving cutlery which has a small cut on the structure.
