The high shaped blacks and yellow inserts are from Galalith. The Art Deco bracelet is very complex and solidly processed. The galalith stones are not only glued on but framed with metal.
A combination of chrome and galalith was typical.
Galalith is a biodegradable milk -based plastic, which was developed around 1900, which could be colored and formed as desired. In the 1930s, buttons and jewelry were made from Galalith.
The designers of the jewelry, which was sold by Jakob Bengel, are unfortunately unknown because the collections are not marked.
However, there is a formal strict through all collections that have clear influences of the Bauhaus.
