Oman – Origin: Sur
Traditionally, these anklets were given to girls upon reaching puberty and were worn in pairs until marriage, becoming part of the dowry.
In addition to Oman, they were also sold in Zanzibar and originally originated in Gujarat.
Solid and heavy, the anklet features meticulous and intricate embossing and chiseling.
It closes with its original cast silver pin complete with a chain.
Comfortable to wear.
The anklet weighs 191.60 grams.
Front height without pin: 4.2 cm.
External diameter: 10 cm.
Internal diameter: 6.5 cm.
It is in excellent condition for its age.
