Pamono Antique Bohemian Grape-Cut Harlequin Crystal Tumblers, 1850, Set of 6> Glassware

This complete harlequin set, dates to the mid-19th century, when Bohemian workshops perfected the art of coloured overlay crystal. Each tumbler is hand-blown and wheel-cut with the classic grape-vine motif, notably lighter in the hand than later revival examples. The combination of refined cutting, antique colour tones, and its place in Bohemian glass history makes this set a rare and highly decorative collectible. These glasses are well-proportioned and notably light in the hand, 220 gram one glass, compared to later examples, with cutting that highlights both brilliance and delicacy. Their mixed colour palette – including maroon (dark ruby), cobalt, emerald, amber, amethyst, and rose – makes them especially decorative as a complete set.
