Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret exhibited the first version of this historic design table in 1929. The model was updated by Perriand in 1984 and reinterpreted with Cassina to provide new versions that keep pace with modern needs. Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret exhibited the first version of this table in 1929 at the Salon d’Automne [Autumn Salon] in Paris as part of the “Équipement Intérieur d’une Habitation” [Interior Home Furnishings] stand. The table, in its original size, which was originally presented as a writing desk, was revisited by Perriand in 1984, and relaunched by Cassina one year later, offering new features to keep pace with contemporary needs.
