Posthumous publication based on a work by Patrick Nagel. When Playboy published its ‘Thirtieth anniversary’ issue, it included an entertaining article by Anton Chekhov. Patrick Nagel illustrated this article with ten headlines. Sensual, provocative, and typically 1980s. Eccentric hairstyles, large earrings, and lots of makeup. After his death in 1984, these illustrations were used for these screen prints. Patrick Nagel was an American artist and illustrator. He created popular illustrations on cardboard, paper, and canvas, most of which emphasize the female form in a distinctive style derived from Art Deco and Pop Art.
