Online Pamono Green Glass Christmas Tree Stand from Bulach of Switzerland, 1930s

This is a beautiful 1930-1940 Bulach of Switzerland glass and aluminium tree stand with metal screws. The emerald glass is of a good thick quality, really made to last! The glass has three raised “ribs” running around the belly. You can also see a few curlicues, reed marks and bubbles in the glass from its manufacture. It looks absolutely amazing with a tree in it. The glass base appears to glow when Christmas lights are reflected, but can also be used as a vase for fresh or dry flowers or greenery.
The tree stand is 19 cm high, with a diameter of 26 cm at the belly of the base. The metal tree stand insert is made of very durable thick aluminium and has two (original) screws with ends that attach just below the lip of the neck of the glass base and three (original) screws with T-ends that attach to the tree to straighten it and hold it in place. This item is in great condition, an exceptional vintage glass tree stand!
