New Pamono Large Vintage Wicker Theatre Prop Basket Trunk

A fantastic wicker basket salvaged from a prop department. The basket retains possibly its original owners name stencilled on the front and has ‘Keep Dry’ on the lid so it could have originally been used as a travelling trunk. The basket has wicker carry handles at each end and the lid is secured with its original steel bar. The basket stands on wooden base slats. Internally it retains its original cream fabric lining and there are some old copies of ‘The Stage’ newspaper from 1954 used to line the base of the basket. There are also some inner support straps. An interesting piece which could be used as a prop or would make a fabulous unique coffee table/side table or could be used for storing clothes/linen/toys.
