Produced by the American company Dorothy Thorpe, Inc.
The company was founded by designer Dorothy Thorpe, who, due to the post-war depression and her ingenuity, decorated glass objects with over 2,000 different designs.
In 1953, she decided to retire and in 1955, sold her company, which continued to produce glassware and accessories.
After leaving, the company created various models, such as the Allegro series, also known as the Silver Band, and the Old Gold.
These elegant glasses became famous thanks to the Mad Men series.
The 30-piece set is for six people and is in excellent condition. It consists of:
6 small glasses;
6 medium glasses;
6 large glasses;
6 round glasses;
6 tumblers.
