Organically shaped stoneware bowl in earthy Sung and Crystaline Glazes. It was designed by danish ceramist Bode Willumsen and manufactured by Royal Copenhagen in the late 1940s.
Early on in his career Bode Willumsen took Axel Salto under his wings and taught him his distinct glazing techniques. The piece is fully signed/stamped to the base.
