Clearance Pamono Victorian Brooch with Cameo in 14-Karat Gold

We present to you an antique Victorian brooch with a cameo, dated to the early 20th century, made of 14-karat gold (585 hallmark). The brooch is crafted using the cameo technique, a method of carving into materials such as stone or glass, where a raised, typically portrait or decorative image appears on a contrasting background. Cameos were popular in jewelry, especially in ancient times and during the Victorian era. Our brooch originates from the Victorian period and depicts a portrait of a woman. The medallion of the brooch is made of 14-karat gold (585 hallmark); please note that the pin is metal. A monogram can be seen on the back when held up to the light (see photograph).
