Clearance Pamono SOLDATINO Nutcracker by Manufatto, 2016

Inspired by the music of the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, Soldatino is a rigorous companion, an all-in-one helper, and can be positioned at the table to help in times of need. The Carrara marble monolith crushes with its weight, together with the movement of the hand that accompanies it, the walnuts resting on the beech base. The wooden base, thanks to the concentric discs dug into the inner core, makes it possible to crush both the largest and the smallest nuts.
The marble collection is made by iFrioli marble workers from the San Lorenzo / Verano district in Rome. These marble workers have a history that dates back to 183, the year in which Leopolo Frioli from Emilia decided to transfer his experience as an entrepreneur and artisan in the capital. Today, after five generations, the goal is to continue this ancient profession whilst keeping alive the tradition.

The product is handmade, so some minor imperfections are not to be considered a defect but a guarantee that the piece is handmade and its uniqueness.
