Elegant Japanese ikebana bowl from the 1950s, finished in a deep, glossy red glaze.

Dimensions: height 8 cm, width 53 cm, depth 13 cm.

The elongated, boat-like form with sharply tapered ends gives the piece a dynamic, sculptural presence. On one side, subtle diagonal accents are visible in the clay – a refined detail that enhances its minimalist aesthetic.

The bowl rests on two elongated feet (see underside), creating a light, floating impression. In very good condition, it embodies the understated refinement of Japanese mid-century design.
