Made of walnut veneer, they feature a rounded structure with continuous, sharp edges, featuring a sequence of curved, open shelves. Their enveloping profile and balanced proportions make them ideal not only as bedside tables but also as versatile storage elements for elegant and sophisticated spaces.
Each bedside table features six shelves, the top and bottom fixed, while the four central shelves can be adjusted in height thanks to internal metal supports, offering a customizable configuration.
Both bedside tables are in very good condition, with signs of use consistent with their age, visible primarily on the top shelf (documented in the photographs). The patina is original and they have not been restored, only cleaned and polished.
Historical note: Luigi Caccia Dominioni was one of the key figures in post-war Italian architecture and design. Co-founder of Azucena in 1947 with Ignazio Gardella and Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua, he designed furnishings that have now become cult objects. The Casaccia model best represents his essential yet sophisticated style.
Dimensions: oval base: 49 x 44.5 cm
height 60 cm
distance between shelves 7.5 cm (adjustable)
Weight: 8.5 kg each
