This authentic Mizubachi (水鉢) is a traditional Japanese water pot made of glazed ceramic, richly decorated with motifs of flowers, plants, and birds. The interior is finished with an elegant green-blue glaze.

Originally, Mizubachi were used as ponds, filled with water, aquatic plants such as lotuses, and sometimes even fish.
