Dumitru Haralamb Chiparus left his native town in Romania, he studied painting and drawing in Florence.
In 1912 he was admitted to the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
After the war he opened his studio in Paris and exhibited his works in the salons.
His works are distinguished by his particularly recognizable touch.
The artist’s works are exhibited today in various international museums.
120 pieces currently exhibited in the Museum of Art Deco in Moscow.
An important collection also exposed in the Art Deco Museum of Salamanca in Spain.
